Nasmyth covers a wide range of capabilities within the complex structures and precision welding sector, including hydraulic press forming. Our experienced teams can perform hydraulic pressing and draw forming on workpieces up to a maximum size of 1.4m x 1.2m.
These specific operations can be performed at both ambient and elevated temperatures in order to assist forming by heating the blank, making the process of shaping easier and more manageable. The Nasmyth also makes use of a 2m x 1m x 0.2m rubber press bolster to stretch out hydraulic press forming capabilities even further.
