Nasmyth’s Rob Holmes speaks at Japan Society seminar Added 30/7/2018

On 2nd July, Rob Holmes, Nasmyth Group’s Customer Development Executive, was one of the guest speakers at a seminar on Japanese Business Links in the North of England.

Beginning with an analysis of the growing market opportunities in the Japanese aerospace sector, Rob’s presentation went on to explain the approach that Nasmyth had taken to convert those opportunities into new business wins. Central to that approach was the development of a Japan-specific strategy; a strategy that identified some very real cultural differences. As he stressed in his conclusion, a dedicated commitment to responsive relationship building was, and is, key.

Organised by the Japan Society and held at the offices of PwC Leeds, this event was hosted by Sir David Warren, chairman of the Society and former British Ambassador to Japan, with Nick Woodford, Japanese Business Network Co-lead Partner for PwC UK.

Nasmyth is a leading global supplier of engineered solutions which support the full spectrum of what makes up an aircraft.
